My career began as a pharmacist on the front lines, managing a pharmacy business to then transitioning to secondary care. Driven by a passion for advancing patient care, I pursued rigorous clinical training in diagnostics and therapeutics, eventually earning my credentials as an independent prescriber specialising in anticoagulation, hypertension, and infections.

My path expanded into primary care, where I commissioned high-cost medicines and pioneered innovative services that seamlessly united health and social care sectors across primary, secondary, and tertiary care. I initiated multidisciplinary collaboration to tackle complex patient needs, particularly within social care settings.

At the national level, I have had the privilege of appraising cutting-edge technologies using evidence-based approaches, shaping health and social care policies that make a tangible difference in people's lives. I’ve worked hand-in-hand with key national, regional and local stakeholders to drive the adoption and implementation of transformative medical interventions. My collaborations span a rich tapestry of partners, from healthcare professionals, royal colleges, providers, and commissioners to national organisations like the MHRA, NHS England, DHSC, Home Office, CQC, professional regulators, international HTAs, and patient advocacy groups.
